Celebration for the Life of Christian Crowell
January 20, 2013 - 2:00pm
Please come and join us at one of Christian's favorite places, Daddy's school gymnasium, to honor and celebrate the life of our young hero, Christian. Refreshments to follow at AE Bowers school in Airdrie, AB.
In lieu of flowers we ask that you make a donation to the Alberta Childrens Hopsital Foundation, Childhood Cancer Collaborative, for Sarcoma Research. Any donation made in Christian's honor is directed towards Rhabdo research

  1. I to pass on my condolences to you and your family... My heart breaks for you all and the sadness that is felt with Christian no longer with us... Christian and all of you have touched me in so many ways I will never forget. I remember clearly the nighIt I met you after Christians "big surgery" He was such a fighter and I quickly realized that he got his fighting spirit from all of you... You showed me what love and passion and true faith means.
I am sorry I was unable to attend Christians Celebration but I did not want today to pass without you knowing that I am thinking of you. Christian you will be always remembered...

  2. Well it has been a couple of hours since Christians celebration of life, and I'm still processing everything that I heard today. Chris, Megan and your whole family shared many special memories of Christian today and I thank you for that. You are all very strong people with great faith and there is along journey ahead of you. But with Gods grace and all your family and supporters that filled the gym today, you will not have to endure it alone. Thank you for sharing Christians journey with us, and an amazing Celebration of Life today, I'm sure many of us walked away today evaluating some of the things said today and applying it to our lives.

  3. Megan, Chris, Evelyn, Ryan & my dear friend Marilyn

Words can not express my sorrow
Christian now gets to watch over you all and will be sending lots of hugs & kisses down to you.

Regrettably we have been in Texas & New Mexico with Mom retracing her childhood homes & many moves with Dad before they came to Canada. I should have/wish I had been there for you Marilyn and Megan but do know that my heart breaks with and for you.

I will be give you a call soon Marilyn but feel the sorrow and my hugs right now that are coming to you all.

  4. What a celebration it was! Yes many tears were shed, but much laughter and loving stories were present too. The strength of Megan and Chris is undeniable. It was such a joy to watch them beam with love as they talked about their son. They stories from their family members were incredibly touching, and the decorations by children from AE Bowers were breath taking. I've never let a memorial with such a sense of calming assurance. What a touching faithful family, you will continue to be in our prayers. Thank you for allowing up all to be touched by your son and family, my faith and walk with God will never be the same.

  8. Thank you for allowing me to be part of Christian's life. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to know your family. Christian has been an incredible influence and powerful force for those who got to know him. I have his picture above my desk and I think of him a lot. Part of him will be with me for every patient and family that I see. Much love to your family. MaryB
